Dunbar Associates traces its roots back to 1993, when Rob's father, a former corporate CEO turned Chief Administrative Officer for the City of Bridgeport, embarked on a mission to revolutionize municipal management.
Inspired by a vision of running municipalities like corporations, Dunbar Associates was born as a Business and Municipal Management Consulting Firm. With a focus on efficiency and fiscal responsibility, they transformed over 20 municipalities into self-sustaining entities, all without burdening budgets.
Over time, the firm evolved to prioritize employee benefits and financial planning and in 2007, Dunbar Associates transitioned into a comprehensive financial services firm. The synergy between Rob, Neil, and Keith, cultivated over 17-18 years working together in the industry, was instrumental in the company's growth.
The three friends and colleagues leverage their expertise to provide unparalleled service to their business and individual clients. Dunbar Associates continues to expand its reach and impact, grounded in a commitment to excellence and integrity.
